The arpeggiator is an attempt to capture the pulse of kindness, executed in four variations.
An arpeggio is a chord played one note at a time, a chord taken apart. Somasonic’s arpeggiator takes the arpeggio itself apart. No fixed order, no beat, and uneven. Long tails fold the separate tones back into a chord, so it becomes an arpeggio that’s not delineated. When turned really slow, the sequence almost disappears into emptiness.
Another never repeating, always reacting and evolving, living instrument. Played in its most minimal form, straight out of the computer, it’s beautiful and soothing. But when played into a physical or soft synth, an enriched version of itself is unlocked.
